About Dr. Brooks
Dr. Eric Brooks is a board-certified radiation oncologist and Physician Partner at Premier Radiation Oncology Associates in Clearwater, Florida. Recognized as one of the best radiation oncologists in Clearwater and Tampa, he combines advanced clinical expertise with compassionate, personalized care.
Dr. Brooks earned his medical degree from Yale University and completed specialized training at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals such as Lancet, JAMA, Nature, and JCO, and has presented at American Society of Clinical Oncology meetings. His work has been cited in the National Cancer Center Network (NCCN) guidelines for managing difficult-to-treat cancers.
Throughout his career, Dr. Brooks has been honored with multiple awards for excellence in patient care, including the Rising Star Award from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He previously served as Chief Health Value Officer and Assistant Professor at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute, where he led initiatives to improve patient access to cutting-edge cancer treatments.
